The Uniform Shop cannot accept cheques made payable to ‘St Michael’s Uniform Shop’. Cheques must be made payable to ‘Bob Stewart Pty Ltd’.
The sale of second-hand uniforms provides a great service to the community – providing an opportunity to recycle uniforms, and giving community members the option of reducing the cost of purchasing uniforms (the usual price charged is 60% of the new retail price).
The Parent Community Association coordinates the sale of second-hand uniforms – through ‘Pop Up’ sales held regularly in the School grounds throughout the year.
The stock is checked for quality. Any items that are not up to our strict standards, outmoded uniform items, or items which have not sold within a year, will be donated to charitable organisations servicing overseas communities in, for example, East Timor.
Upcoming second-hand uniform sale
As always, we encourage parents to take advantage of the PCA’s second hand uniform sales.
The next major sale is fast approaching, and will be held in the foyer of St George’s Church building directly across the road from the main school campus entrance on Chapel Street, on Saturday 2 December from 9 – 11am.
For more information about the second-hand uniform sale, and how you can donate your clothes, head here.
Secondhand uniforms can be dropped off throughout the School year at Chapel Reception (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm).
Please note that due to health regulations, we cannot sell hats, socks, shoes, bathers or school bags.
Please assist us to sell your clothes, by presenting them for sale as follows:
- In excellent condition, with all buttons/hooks, hems and seams intact, pockets on blazers, etc. and no stains, marks or tears.
- Blazers, tunics and skirts must be dry cleaned in their bag with tag.
- All other items must be laundered and pressed.
Items are not presented in a saleable condition, or outmoded uniform items will be donated to charity. Due to space constraints, items not sold within one year may be either sold at a special ‘sale’ price or donated to charity. Once consigned to us, items cannot be returned.
