St Michael’s Grammar School’s Parent Community Association (PCA) aims to nurture a sense of belonging and create an exceptional School community experience for children and their parents/guardians.
The PCA mission is to build strong relationships between families and the School, by fostering a vibrant parent community through fundraising, events, support and friendship; underpinned by the School values of Dignity, Respect, Care and Compassion.
There are many opportunities to help in the extended School community, such as joining the PCA Committee, taking on the role of a Year Level Representative or Quadrant Leader, volunteering with the Friends of the Arts, Friends of Sport or Friends of Food, helping with lost property and the second-hand book sale or second-hand uniform shop, or bringing your expertise to other PCA events.

Throughout the year, there are plenty of year level events such as welcome gatherings, coffee get-togethers, social drinks, and many more!
SMGS Generation: linking student learning to real life
SMGS Generation is an exciting new online platform designed to benefit St Michael’s students by providing opportunities to link their learning to the career skills and experience of our extensive St Michael’s parent and Old Michaelian network.
Generation connects parents and Old Michaelians to the School’s teaching and learning programs, providing opportunities to help our students through the sharing of professional knowledge, skills and career experience. Parents who sign-up to Generation are able to indicate the level of help they are willing to provide, empowering the teachers of St Michael’s to create new and exciting learning experiences for the current and next generation of students.
