Joanne is an audit partner at professional services firm, EY (formerly Ernst & Young). Joanne has spent over 30 years providing accounting, internal control and governance advice to public and private companies both large and small across many different industries. She has also been the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Business Affairs for a group of companies in the entertainment industry. Joanne joined the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee of the school in 2014 and prior to that, was a member of the Audit & Risk Management Committee of Melbourne Grammar School for six years. She is a chartered accountant and registered company auditor and is also on the Board of the Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.
Joanne has also been a St Michael’s school parent since 2002, with her three children all attending St Michael’s from three year old kindergarten.
