St Michael’s Bus Service (free of charge for St Michael’s families)
St Michael’s operates seven bus routes travelling from the North, East, South and West of Melbourne, to and from our School everyday.
Benefits of utilising the bus service:
- A no-cost bus service: From 2026, the School Bus Service will be free of charge for all St Michael’s students (Prep to Year 12).
- Students build their independence and have additional opportunities to connect with peers from the same areas of Melbourne.
- Families are supporting the flow of local traffic around our campus by opting for the bus rather than driving.
- Less cars on the road supports efforts to lower emissions, and saves on petrol costs for families.
- Parents win back more time in their day for their other responsibilities, and themselves.
Online bus system
Our online bus management platform, RollCall, allows parents to track the bus in real-time and book student trips up to one term in advance.
Public Transport Options
- Windsor Train Station (Sandringham Line) is a five minute walk from campus, with the Dandenong Road intersection supervised by St Michael’s staff before and after school.
- Tram stops for the #1 Tram (Melbourne University/Swanston Street), #52 Tram (Burke Road/Wattletree Road), #78 Tram (North Richmond to Balaclava) and the #68 Tram (East Brighton/Hawthorn Road) are located just minutes from our campus.
- Multiple bus routes across Melbourne include stops on Dandenong Road, Alma Road and Chapel Street.
