Learning beyond the classroom
At St Michael’s Grammar School, students engage in a rich variety of co-curricular activities designed to nurture the whole child. Students can explore their interests and passions through both compulsory and optional activities, while building skills, friendships and a sense of community.
Sport
Our sport program develops fitness and teamwork from ELC to Year 12, with House carnivals, inter-school competitions, and high-performance pathways for students at every level.
Performing Arts
The arts play a key role in personal growth. Students can take part in Music, Drama, and Dance, and explore behind-the-scenes skills such as lighting, sound, and production.
Experiential Learning
Senior students can participate in immersive programs, from international study tours in New York and language exchanges in Italy to STEAM and arts projects.
Clubs
Clubs are a vibrant part of School life, offering students opportunities to explore interests and connect with others through groups like Book Club, Equality Club, and Sailing Club.
Aquatics
St Michael’s Aquatics offers students before-school and evening sessions in our 6-lane indoor pool, gym, and weights room, all guided by expert coaches.
Extended Tuition Program
Extended Tuition offers after-school and holiday programs for ELC to Year 12 run by educators, giving students the chance to explore their interests, develop skills, and feed curiosity.
Early Learning Centre - Extended Tuition
Our youngest learners can extend their learning through programs like Little Coders, tennis and soccer, fostering skills and curiosity in a highly supportive environment.
Junior School - Extended Tuition
Junior School students can explore their interests and develop skills beyond the classroom through programs like Young Engineers, Minecraft coding and Creative Cooking.
Senior School - Extended Tuition
Senior School students can take their learning further with programs in Coding and AI, Python, Aquatics and more.
