With nearly 50 years of experience in co-education, St Michael’s is a leader in delivering gender-balanced, collaborative learning. Our students experience the benefits of learning with and from all genders, supported by the explicit teaching of skills for emotional intelligence, healthy friendships and relationships from Kindergarten through to VCE. Students are given a genuine role in school decision-making through participation in a range of staff-supported committees that contribute to school culture, operations and facilities.

One Campus, One Community

Our single-campus model with 1210 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 allows us to nurture individual strengths and interests through a wide range of subject choices and opportunities. Small class sizes allow for differentiated learning and strong social connections amongst students, parents and teachers. From Kindergarten to Year 12, students are supported to develop as individuals and active members of our community. 

With students from all year levels collaborating and caring for one another, our model creates a strong sense of community and belonging. This ensures a smooth transition from early learning through to primary and secondary school, helping students feel safe, supported, and confident in a familiar, well-resourced environment.

Consistent Excellence in our Students’ Academic Achievements

Our Teaching, Learning and Caring Framework ensures academic, creative, and sporting rigour. St Michael’s students consistently achieve outstanding VCE results and graduate with the confidence and skills to pursue meaningful futures.

In 2023, 2024 and 2025, 100% of students received VTAC offers in their preferred fields of study, taking up a diverse range of degrees at top universities in Melbourne, Europe and the United States.
