The most important group of stakeholders at our School are the students. Our approach places their voice, ideas, and leadership at the centre of school life.
Leadership opportunities by year level
Junior School
Year 2-5: Environmental Action Group and Community Action Group representatives
Year 6: Co-Captains (K-6), House Co-Captains, Music Co-Captains, Sacristans, Mentors
Senior School
Year 9: Years 7–9 Co-Captains and Co-Vice Captains
Year 12: Co-Captains (7-12), Co-Vice Captains (7-12), House Co-Captains, House Co-Vice Captains, Co-Curricular Captains
Leadership for everyone
You don’t need a badge to be a leader at St Michael’s. All students are encouraged to uphold the School’s philosophy, with leadership characteristics integrated into the curriculum. Being a positive role model, upholding values, helping others, and initiating change are central to our leaders.
