More train services from Melbourne's west

From 23 August 2026, an upgraded timetable brings more frequent train services across the network, including a new direct service between Newport and Sandringham via Flinders Street, running every 10 minutes on weekdays. Families travelling from Melbourne's west now have a faster, more frequent option for reaching St Michael's.

Combined with the School's private bus service, running seven routes across Melbourne, and supervised crossings at pick-up and drop-off, St Michael's remains accessible for families beyond the immediate St Kilda area.
