VCE Scholarship Program
An exceptional pathway for exceptional students
About the Program
The VCE Scholarship Program has been designed to attract ambitious, values-aligned students into our Senior School community, providing them with the individualised support and expansive opportunities offered at St Michael’s as they pursue VCE excellence and competitive graduate pathways.
Scholarships are available for new students entering Year 10 or Year 11 in 2027. Students currently enrolled at St Michael's are not eligible for this program.
An optional means-tested component is available for all applicants. A family's financial situation will be carefully considered, and greater weight is given to candidates for whom the scholarship would have a significant positive impact.
For those wishing to be considered for means-testing they will need to provide additional information including:
- A completed copy of the St Michael’s Scholarship Financial Statement (in excel format) which requires detailed information about the family’s income and expenses (this will be provided separately for those wishing to be considered under this additional criteria)
- The last 2 full tax returns of both parents (not just the Notice of Assessments), as well as details/returns of any trusts you may be a member of (if applicable).
All financial information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence, used solely for the purpose of assessing the scholarship application and deleted when the program is finalised. Families will be provided with a secure link to upload documents directly to St Michael’s Grammar School.
Applicants must attend a St Michael’s tour or Open Morning prior to being invited to interview. Those who have not yet toured St Michael’s at the time of applying are strongly encouraged to attend our Term 3 Open Morning on Tuesday 18 August 2026 or another Small Group Tour before the end of August.
St Michael’s is one of Australia’s leading independent coeducational schools, educating more than 1200 students from Kindergarten to VCE. We acknowledge the Boonwurrung People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which St Michael’s stands. We pay respect to their ancestors, elders and emerging leaders, and we are committed to reconciliation through authentic relationships and continued cultural learning.
