International Students

St Michael’s Grammar School is a progressive and inclusive coeducational Kindergarten to Year 12 school, centrally located in St Kilda, Melbourne.

We warmly welcome applications from International Students from Preparatory to Year 11, who will be residing with a parent or a Department of Home Affairs-approved relative during their enrolment. St Michael’s is a day school and is not currently registered to support homestays.

All students applying for a place at St Michael’s, who do not have English as their first language, are required to submit an iDAT or AEAS assessment, both are accepted.

AEAS assessments must be completed at a recognised AEAS testing centre. There are AEAS testing centres in Australia and many overseas countries. Results are typically provided within two weeks. 

IDAT assessments can be completed from home under controlled conditions. Results are provided within two days.

Fees for International Students

There are two components to our fees: the base tuition fee and a levy. Each of these components vary, depending on a student’s year level. Uniforms and books are additional. For further details, please see our Annual International Fees and Charges.
