Ms Dale Fisher is Chief Executive of Silver Chain Group. Silver Chain is a not-for-profit organisation delivering community health and aged care services across Australia. Prior to joining Silver Chain, Ms Fisher was Chief Executive Officer of The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer treatment, research and education and home to Australia’s largest cancer research program. Ms Fisher was the Chief Executive Officer at The Royal Women’s Hospital for nine years.
In recognition of her achievements in leadership and promoting excellence in women’s health to the Victorian community, Dale was inducted into the Victorian Honour Roll of Women in 2011 as part of the centenary celebrations for International Women’s Day. Ms Fisher is a Board member of the Committee for Melbourne, an apolitical, not-for-profit, member-based organisation which has a passion for shaping Melbourne, as well as a Board member of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre. In March 2016, she was appointed as Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine, Monash University, an Adjunct Professor at Swinburne University. In October 2017, she was awarded a Monash University Fellowship for her distinctive contribution to health and community.
