As young learners engage in experiential programs tailored to their age, they begin to build foundational skills, cultivate a sense of wonder about the world around them, and develop the resilience needed for future endeavours.
Introducing ‘Roaring Fun’, an extraordinary adventure tailored for our Year 2 students on Boonwurrung Country. During this thrilling program, students embark on an unforgettable journey where they experience the excitement of a school sleepover followed by an exhilarating visit to Werribee Zoo—all in one incredible camp.
‘One Coastal Community,’ is an enriching program tailored for our Year 3 students on Boonwurrung Country. Set against the picturesque backdrop of The Briars at Belgravia Outdoor Education Camp. This immersive experience brings together our young learners to explore, learn, and grow as a unified coastal community.
‘Coastal Guardians Program’ for our Year 4 students on Gadubanud Country that focuses on exploring, protecting, and celebrating our coastal treasures. Building on the success of Year 3’s ‘One Coastal Community’ theme, this two-night camp at Angahook Holiday Camp in Aireys Inlet empowers students to become stewards of our coastal environment.
‘Journeying Through History and Heritage Program’ for our Year 5 students on Dja Dja Wurrung Country. In an immersive exploration of the past and celebration of heritage. Set amidst the rustic charm of Log Cabin Camp and the historical marvels of Sovereign Hill, this program offers a unique blend of educational experiences and exhilarating adventures.
The ‘Our National Neighbour Program’ for our Year 6 students at St Michael’s is an enriching journey to the heart of our nation, Canberra on Ngunnawal Country. Over the course of four immersive days, students embark on a captivating exploration of Australia’s history, culture, and achievements.
St Michael’s clubs are an integral and complementary part of the educational process. We are proud to provide students with the opportunity to discover new interests and build positive relationships with others.
The current coordinated activities include Makerspace, Kitchen Garden, Robotics, Art, French, Hip Hop, COSMOS (Science), Book Club, Mad About, Public Speaking, Chess and Environmental Defenders. Note: some clubs are available to certain year levels only.
