St Michael’s is well-recognised for innovation in dance and many highly regarded choreographers actively seek to work with our talented students.
The annual Years 7-12 Dance Project provides students with the opportunity to experience dance and performance at a professional level. This year, students will present Rozvaha, an innovative three-piece dance work encompassing collaborative pieces by recognised choreographers, Brittany Page, Peni Waqairatu (OM 2016) and Jack May.
Rozvaha represents an abandoned amusement park that was deserted many years ago following a devastating explosion. On the 50th anniversary of the disaster, the local community is invited into the park for one spectacular night only.
Rozvaha will deliver a unique experience where the invisible becomes visible and perspectives are transformed. It will reignite the park and take you on a captivating journey.
