Learn Effective Delegation

At St Michael’s, we are delighted to offer professional learning opportunities to the broader community, including our parents. You or your colleagues may be interested in developing your delegation skills. We have limited spaces available for a day on the topic of Effective Delegation. This program will be run in partnership with PDT, a reputable leadership training organisation.  These places are at a significantly discounted (50% discount) price and include catering for the day.

• Apply different delegation styles to suit tasks and team members
• Prepare effectively before assigning tasks
• Choose the right person for the right task
• Follow a clear, step-by-step process for successful delegation
• Give clear, structured instructions to support task success
• Avoid common delegation mistakes and learn how to manage them
• Monitor progress and outcomes without micromanaging
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support growth
• Lead effective delegation conversations and follow-ups
