To ensure the wellbeing and safety of our community, we have made the difficult decision to close the School as a precautionary measure, with effect from Thursday 19 March. At this time, St Michael’s does not have any reported cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
On Thursday 19 March, the School will be closed to students. Online learning will commence for all students from P–12 on Friday 20 March and will continue until the conclusion of Term 1. The Margaret Thomas House Kindergarten will also close, as of Thursday 19 March.
It is a challenging time for the whole community and we have not taken this decision lightly. We have done our very best to respect the advice of both the Federal and State governments, and have explored options for keeping the School open. However, the complexity of this situation has led us to our decision.
