St Michael’s Grammar School’s Parent Community Association (PCA) aims to nurture a sense of belonging and create an exceptional School community experience for children and their parents and guardians.
The PCA mission is to build strong relationships between families and the School, by fostering a vibrant parent community through fundraising, events, support and friendship; underpinned by the School values of dignity, respect, care and compassion.
There are many opportunities to help in the extended School community, such as joining the PCA Committee, taking on the role of a Year Level Representative, volunteering with the Parent Supporters of the Arts, Sport, Communications or Events, helping with lost property and second-hand book or second-hand uniform sales, or bringing your expertise to other PCA events. Guidance, training and support is provided to all new volunteers in order to enable them to perform their roles successfully.
Throughout the year, there are plenty of year level events such as welcome gatherings, coffee get-togethers, social drinks, and many more!
All parents are encouraged to connect with their PCA Year Level Representatives. Your Year Level Representative can assist you to navigate the School, point you in the right direction should you need more information, and provide you with opportunities to engage with fellow parents.
Parents can also receive relevant Year Level PCA information via push notifications on their smart phone by downloading the St Michael’s mobile app.
