What a difference a day made

Yesterday, 25 May, we held our annual Giving Day in support of our Scholarships program.

We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support of our donors who have truly shown us what a difference just one day can make.

When we launched at 10.00 am yesterday, our target was to reach $150,000 in donations within just 24 hours, with the help of our matching donors.

At 10.00 am today we had collectively raised just over $160,000. All of these funds will go to our St Michael’s Scholarships Fund to help us offer even more scholarships to students now, and in the future.

The success of Giving Day is due to the generosity of our entire community including parents, past parents, Old Michaelians, staff and students. We are also indebted to the leadership provided by our generous matching donors. These include the PCA and very many suppliers to the School.

The contributions of the following Matching Donors meant your donations had double the impact:

  • The King Family
  • St Michael’s Parent Community Association
  • The Board of St Michael’s Grammar School
  • Daniel and Tanya Allison
  • Steve and Mary Brett
  • St Michael’s School Executive
  • Aquastar
  • Bank of Melbourne
  • Bob Stewart Pty Ltd
  • Brocor
  • Campion Education
  • Cerno Property Services
  • Driver Group Australia
  • Hunter Industrial
  • Mattioli Bros
  • Mermaid Property Services
  • Monjon Australia Pty Ltd
  • Moray and Agnew Lawyers
  • The Outdoor Education Group

We thank them again for their generosity and for making a difference in the lives of our students.
